English title: How to Renew Your Residence Status
在留資格（ざいりゅうしかく）の更新（こうしん）は、期限（きげん）の3か月前（さんかげつまえ）から準備（じゅんび）できます。
You can start preparing for renewal 3 months before the expiry date.
必要な書類 / Required documents
在留カード、パスポート、雇用契約書（こようけいやくしょ）、給与明細（きゅうよめいさい）、住民税の証明書（しょうみんぜいのしょうめいしょ）が必要（ひつよう）です。
Residence card, passport, employment contract, salary slip, residence tax certificate are needed.
どこで申請するか / Where to apply
出入国在留管理庁（しゅつにゅうこくざいりゅうかんりちょう）の窓口（まどぐち）で申請（しんせい）します。オンライン申請（しんせい）もできます。
You apply at the Immigration Services Agency. Online application is also possible.
施設のサポート / Facility support
多（おお）くの施設（しせつ）は手続（てつづ）きをサポートしてくれます。リーダーや事務所（じむしょ）に相談（そうだん）してください。
Many facilities support the procedure. Talk to the leader or office.
