1. Health Insurance / 健康保険（けんこう ほけん）
- EN: Covers 70% of medical costs at hospitals.
JP: 病院（びょういん）で 70% を 国（くに）が はらう。 - EN: You pay only 30%.
JP: あなたは 30% だけ はらう。 - EN: Premium: about 5-6% of your salary (half paid by you, half by facility).

2. Pension (Nenkin) / 厚生年金（こうせい ねんきん）

3. Lump-Sum Withdrawal (When You Return Home)

- EN: You can claim if you paid pension for 6 months or more.
JP: 6か月 以上 はらえば もらえる。 - EN: Maximum return: about 8-10 years of payment value.

4. Social Security Agreements / 社会保障協定（しゃかい ほしょう きょうてい）
EN: Japan has agreements with some countries (Philippines, India, Vietnam are being negotiated). If your country has an agreement, the pension period in Japan can be counted in your home country pension.

5. If You Get Sick or Hurt at Work / 仕事 で けが・病気 に なったら
- EN: Workers’ Compensation Insurance (Rosai Hoken) covers it. Facility pays.
